voting & bribes

Participate in Aborean governance by locking ABX and directing emissions.

how ve(3,3) works

Aborean uses a vote-escrow model. Lock ABX (Aborean's token) to receive veABX, which gives you voting power to direct emissions to specific pools.

Longer lock times = more voting power. This aligns incentives between long-term holders and the protocol.

voting for burr

When you vote for the BURR/ETH pool, you're directing protocol emissions to liquidity providers in that pool. This:

  • Increases APR for BURR liquidity providers
  • Attracts more liquidity to the pool
  • Improves trading conditions for everyone

bribes

Protocols can "bribe" veABX voters to direct emissions to their pools. Bearish allocates 2% of BURR supply to bribes.

If you hold veABX and vote for the BURR pool, you earn a share of these bribes on top of your normal voting rewards.

how to participate

  1. Acquire ABX tokens on Aborean
  2. Lock ABX to receive veABX
  3. Vote for the BURR/ETH pool during voting epochs
  4. Claim your share of fees and bribes
